Reflections on the Recent Period at Metripond-M93
The end of the year is a peculiar time.
It is not the deadlines that dictate, nor the daily pace, but the act of looking back. Those few quieter moments when one thinks through what remains from a year if we strip away the to-do lists and emails.
At Metripond-M93, this year was also multifaceted. Different industries, varying needs, different environments – yet they all had something in common: behind every project there was the intention of long-term planning.
During the year, we had work where it was not a matter of “just” installing an existing solution, but of giving shape to a truly unique concept.
During a project in Kapuvar, the customer envisioned a special “western-door” livestock scale – one that perfectly fits everyday use and the given environment. The work began with a thorough assessment of needs. We designed the solution, coordinated the details, then following approval, we manufactured and delivered the livestock scale.
The result was not a compromise solution, but exactly what was envisioned.
Elsewhere, a weighbridge was the focus. The weighbridge installation completed at the Valeo factory in Veszprem was a good example of when the greatest challenge is not the technology but the environment in which one has to work. We had to proceed alongside continuous corporate operations, while adhering to strict occupational safety regulations, so that the construction would remain almost unnoticed during daily operations. In this project, on-site consultations and precise advance planning played a particularly important role. These made it possible for the construction to ultimately proceed smoothly, on schedule and by the deadline.
However, this year was not only about projects.
It also included learning and affirmation. At the Ecomondo trade exhibition in Rimini, for example, the mindset we work with every day became clearly apparent: data is now a strategic resource, and sustainability is not a separate goal but an operational principle.
And it also included taking responsibility.
When we donated digital scales to healthcare and educational institutions, it was not a business decision. Rather, it was a gesture that comes naturally to us: helping where accurate measurement truly matters – whether in healthcare, education or training.
Throughout the year, we were also repeatedly affirmed that good solutions are always backed by people.
Business relationships, professional conversations, collaborative thinking, whether at a BNI conference or a team-building day in Mindszent. These moments do not appear on technical drawings, yet without them, good decisions would not be made.
With this thought, we close this year, and with it, we step forward into the next one.
